Hello again, Charlotte
Local roots.
A new chapter.
Since 2009, our creative work has helped small businesses show up in the places their customers meet them. The next chapter connects that customer experience with practical AI and the work behind the scenes.
A creative thread, since 2009
Across the screen.
Across the table.
Websites, menus, signs and everyday moments. Our archive reflects years of helping Charlotte businesses show up as themselves.

Distinctive websites and practical AI.
Built around the business.
A neighborhood restaurant. A brewery. A construction company. Different businesses, with something in common: good work deserves a clear, useful presence.
Our past projects span websites, brand identity, menus, signage, and ongoing marketing support. That experience shapes how we approach the next chapter of Hunter Creative.
Today, we’re focused on helping small businesses in Charlotte make better use of their websites and everyday tools.
There’s a story in the name.
Hunter is our founder’s middle name. It also fits how we work today: we look for overlooked opportunities that help a business grow. Sometimes that’s a clearer opening on a website. Sometimes it’s a better way to follow up with a customer or finish work your team repeats every week.
Afrobot: stand out. Work smarter.
Our original robot has been part of the brand for years. Today, it represents the two sides of our approach: distinctive creative work and useful technology. Good AI should help your business feel more like itself, with your expertise, voice and standards built into the work.
Useful beats complicated.
We start with the work you need done. A website should answer real customer questions and make the next step easy. An AI workflow should help with a real task. Measurement should help you make a decision.
That means looking at the tools you already pay for before recommending another subscription. We agree on a clear scope, build around a real workflow, and leave your team with a handoff they can use. Add more when it earns its place.
Experience across the places customers meet you.
Our early work connected websites with the materials businesses use every day. For Sugar Creek Brewing, that included the website, menus, and table tents. For Leroy Fox, it included web and print design plus marketing support over several years. For Sonshine Construction, a refreshed identity extended to the website, cards, signage, and swag.
The archive also includes training-site concepts for Accelerate Basketball and promotional design for Cowbell and Mortimer’s. You can explore those examples in our selected past work. They document historical projects; today’s AI services are part of our new chapter.
What working together looks like.
We begin with a short conversation about your customers, the work that takes too much time, and what a useful result would look like. Then we agree on a focused scope, the content we need from you, and the next steps. You review the work in a staging environment before it goes live.
For AI, we start with one everyday task: preparing a first draft, organizing information, or turning a repeatable process into clear instructions. We help set up the tool and teach your team how to check its work. People stay responsible for decisions and anything sent to customers.
A more connected business, one useful step at a time.
A restaurant may need a clearer route from menu to reservation. A builder may need to turn an inquiry into a useful project brief. A local service business may answer the same customer questions every day. These are examples of where to look, not results we assume before learning about your business.
Our longer-term direction is an AI-native way of working: your team has useful business context, the right tools connect, and repeatable tasks become easier to manage. It starts with one improvement you can test. A good website or CRM you already own can stay.
Local, practical, and built to be maintained.
Our focus is Charlotte’s small-business owners. You should understand what your website does, which accounts your business owns, and how to keep it current. We discuss ongoing maintenance separately so the launch and the work that follows have clear expectations.
